OEM Training Provider for senseFly
Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) are rapidly becoming ubiquitous, finding utility in academic, industry, and government applications. As a globally leading professional UAS manufacturer, senseFly recognized the importance of expert training for their clients and end-users to ensure safety of operations and to realize the full benefits of UAS employment.
The Sinclair College National UAS Training and Center teams with senseFly as their primary North American Original Equipment Manufacturer authorized training partner, offering instruction at Sinclair’s facilities in Dayton, Ohio, at senseFly client or other remote sites, and through a growing national network of partnering authorized flight training providers.
The curriculum, developed by Sinclair in collaboration with senseFly, includes two major components:
• Asynchronous, instructor facilitated online ground school covering the senseFly eBee X operations, Concepts of Operations (ConOps), and Safety Risk Mitigation (SRM) practices. This course is offered online for a period of three (3) weeks preceding in-person flight training.
• In-person flight training can be provided at Sinclair facilities, clientlocations, or an authorized training partner site including hands-on, practical test standard style instruction leading to a senseFly eBee X – Operator Original Equipment Manufacturer Authorized Training Certificate upon successful completion. This in-person training is conducted over 2.5 days and is designed for cohorts of 2-3 participants.
